Jordan Taylor

Jordan Taylor [they/them]

Mx. Taylor is a violist and educator who deeply values relationship-building and strategic thinking. Their goal is for students to grow as independent learners, compassionate humans, and confident members of their communities. They enjoy learning what makes each student unique and finding creative ways to meet their diverse learning needs!

Jordan recently graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Music in viola performance and a minor in interdisciplinary studies. During their time at CWU, they were involved in various ensembles throughout Washington State, won first place in the 2023 CWU Concerto Competition, and conducted research on accessibility in the music classroom as well as strategies for teaching string instruments to students with joint hypermobility. 

When they are not teaching or practicing, Jordan can be found crafting, reading, exploring the great outdoors, and caring for their houseplants.
